We are officially two months old now!

I am thankful for our growing community. We are only two months old and have been growing in content. While for now there are only a few users who post, we have been posting good quality discussions and I have already grown from you of all. Every day is a stepping stone for our IFA forum! Lots of tweaks and changes have been made! So lets get right into it!

Oh and shoutout to @Atipo , @Ayobamikale for all of your discussions. They really helped us grow!

So whats new?

• Users will now recieve a notification when mentioning a username preceded by the @ key
• If you haven't already, we are now on TikTok !! Check us out  : TikTok
• We are now searchable on all major search engines!! Google, Bing, Yahoo you name it! The more discussions we have the more exposure we get, which means the more our community can grow and be a resource for others!! Woo!!
• You may notice that we now have a couple ads on the site to help monetize our website. Funding is crucial to keep our space up and running on the internet. This month we will be continuing to work with other adnetworks, preferably ads that are more relevant to the needs of our community. But it is hard work. Pray for us !
• New Registered Members! We are 46 members strong ! Months from now we will look back on these days and see how far we have grown !!
• The usual bug fixes and tweaks

What may we expect this coming month?

• More members and great content! Olodumare willing! Ase!
• Better advertising partners! Ase!
• More fixes and tweaks to improve usability!
• Possibly totally new features  keep an eye out!

Maintenance

I will reiterate to not be alarmed when you see our site in maintenance. There is a lot of work done to provide a quality experience for our community. If you see our site in maintenance, comeback in a 30min-1 hr and everything should be back to normal!

I have been hard at work applying fixes to ensure the usability and security of our community. It has been an exciting month with many challenges. Some very stressful. Bills for the site being one of them. As of now I fund iseselagbao.com straight out of my pocket. To pay our hosting provider as well as other third party expenses. While Google has indexed us on their search engine. They took issue with our website containing Yoruba. Therefore even though all of our conversations have been in majority english, the have not supported us because of our use of Yoruba words. Claiming our entire site is in an "Unsupported Language". This is clear language discrimination and dare I say cultural and religious discrimination as Yoruba is core to our faith. I read the list of their "Supported Lanugage" and in fact they do not support NOT ONE AFRICAN LANGUAGE! They have effectively excluded the continent of Africa! Luckily IFA teaches us that there is always challenges and struggle in order to obtain success. And we will clear all of our obstacles! Ase o!
